- UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation holding FREE community demonstrations across the Capital
All eyes will be on the IPIC Arena this April as the world’s elite returns to the ‘home of Jiu-Jitsu’ for the 9th annual Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
The event, which takes place from 10th – 23rd April 2017 and held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will see over 7000 local and international athletes take to the mats of the IPIC Arena and compete for a combined prize fund of up to AED 3 million!
As part of the event the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation will be holding FREE to attend community demonstrations throughout the Capital giving children the opportunity to try out Jiu-Jitsu first hand.
As part of the workshops children will learn the basic skills of Jiu-Jitsu and learn about its values; Loyalty, Self-Conference, Professionalism, Teamwork and Sportsmanship.
