Further regulations on e-commerce activities have been put in place by authorities in Sharjah.
This comes after the emirate’s Executive Council announced that only those licenced by the Sharjah Department of Economic Development can engage in such activities.
They also clarified that those applying for the licence must be UAE citizens and at least 21-years-old, with a no objection certificate from the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).
Eighteen-year-olds can also engage in the trade if authorised by the judicial court.
