Doctors from Dubai are performing free heart surgeries for more than a 100 children in Mumbai.
The mission is part of a government-funded medical assistance programme which offers heart treatment to children whose parents cannot afford it.
Nabadat, which means ‘heartbeat’ in Arabic, was launched by the Mohammad Bin Rashid Charity and Humanitarian Establishment (MBRCHE) in collaboration with Dubai Health Authority.
It offers children as old as 14 free surgery and post-surgical treatment for congenital heart ailments.
